In compliance with Article VI, Section 2 of the International By-Laws, I hereby issue the Official Call for the 2023 International Convention. Our 105th International Convention will be held in-person, with some events available on demand after the convention. It begins at 10 a.m. on July 7 and ends July 11. The purpose of the convention is to elect a president, first vice president, second vice president, third vice president and 17 members of the International Board of Directors, and to transact such other business as may properly come before the meeting. Our International Convention will be held in the historic city of Boston, Massachusetts in the United States. Convention is the Lion event of the year, bringing Lions and Leos from around the world to celebrate our service, enjoy friendship and fellowship, and to experience everything that convention has to offer. The five-day convention will feature inspiring speakers, world-class entertainment, engaging seminars, and Lion traditions like the swearing-in of our new international president and our Parade of Nations through the streets of Boston. And you’ll be surrounded by the incredible nightlife, vibrant shopping, the rich history and delicious cuisine of our beautiful host city. So come join us in Boston for fellowship, fun and learning.
